Engineered safety for vertical motors
The MTF™ Motor Transport Fixture for critical vertical motors.
A reusable, engineered steel fixture that replaces improvised wood blocking and protects your motors, your people, and your reputation every mile of the move.
Safety isn’t the expense — it’s the investment.
U.S. Patent D1,067,130 S
Galvanized U.S. steel
Forklift & overhead crane compatible
Designed to replace wood timbers
If the motor is worth fixing, it’s worth transporting right.
Purpose-built fixture for transporting and staging large vertical motors—no more guessing with scrap wood, makeshift blocking, or risky rigging.
Why the MTF™ exists
Wood is no option.
For years, vertical motors have been moved on improvised stacks of lumber — until something shifts, tips, or fails. The MTF™ Motor Transport Fixture was created from real field experience to give companies a repeatable, engineered way to secure high-value motors from shop floor to job site.
Engineered, stamped & built to last
Heavy-duty, galvanized steel construction designed specifically for vertical motors. One fixture can support many motors over its service life, replacing piles of disposable lumber.
Reusable, sustainable, and ready when your next motor is.
Transport, storage & workstation
The MTF™ isn’t just for transport. Use it to stage, store, and work on motors upright, keeping the flange secured to the MTF and keeping the shaft and coupler protected. Reduces Downtime Costs by streamlining transport & minimizes production losses from stop-and-go delays.
One tool that pays you back across the entire job.
Safety-first by design
Designed around real near-miss events and industry expectations from OSHA, DOT, and safety programs. Professional image and safer securement on every job.
Safety isn’t a talking point — it’s a fixture.
Cost of risk vs. cost of engineered safety.
The price of an engineered fixture is easy to measure. The cost of a dropped motor, a shutdown, or an injury is not. The MTF™ is built to sit on the prevent side of that ledger.
When a vertical motor tips or shifts, you don’t just lose steel and copper. You face downtime, emergency labor, possible regulatory questions, and damage to trust. The MTF™ is a one-time capital investment that keeps paying for itself in avoided incidents.
If the motor is worth fixing, it’s worth transporting right.
Regulatory & Safety Risks: Cargo Securement Failures
Top U.S. Transportation Violation
According to annual FMCSA enforcement data, cargo securement remains one of the top Out-of-Service violations every year, consistently representing 9–10% of all nationwide vehicle OOS violations in 2024.
These violations rank among the highest categories across inspections and roadside audits.
OSHA & NIOSH Dropped-Load Incidents
OSHA and NIOSH case investigations document repeated fatal and serious-injury events involving:
• Heavy industrial loads tipping or shifting
• Dropped loads during transport, rigging, or handling
• Improvised or inadequate blocking and cribbing
• Tall, narrow, high-center-of-gravity equipment falling from trailers
The MTF™ exists specifically to eliminate this gap, providing a repeatable, engineered, OSHA-defensible solution for tall, narrow, high-value vertical motors during transport and storage.

Founder, Preeminent Transport™ · Creator of the MTF™
Because wood is no option.
The MTF™ didn’t start on a drawing board. It started on the deck of trucks and trailers, in real jobs where vertical motors were riding on stacks of lumber that were never designed to do that job. I’ve seen near-misses I don’t care to repeat, and I’ve heard all the talk about safety from people using anything but engineered securement.
I built the MTF™ to give companies a professional, repeatable way to secure these motors — something you can roll under a crane or forklift and know it was designed for the task. Whether it’s a $5,000 motor or a $250,000 motor, it deserves to be treated like it matters.
My commitment is simple: to help you move vertical motors with the same level of care you put into repairing and installing them. Safety isn’t the expense — it’s the investment.
